It’s sometimes difficult to know if the tool you’re downloading is safe. Occasionally we all make a bad call. This week, Dean DaCosta created a video demo of Extension Defender, a handy Chrome extension that checks to see if you’ve accidentally downloaded any malicious Chrome extensions.

  1. This extension has not been updated in a year so it is useless. Without updates a malware tool is crap. UR chicken little style of exalting anything you find as new and therefore good is mindless.
