Search Engine News Sourcers and Recruiters Should Know

Below are three pieces of search engine related news sourcers and recruiters should know about.

  1. I’m curioius, why should sourcers and recruiters know these? I guess I’m looking for more context on how they can assist us. Thanks!

    1. Thanks for your question Devon. I think it’s smart to understand what is coming with new technology. DuckDuckGo is a great search engine that has been around for a while. Many sourcers I know are already using it. I think the recent changes will help to improve user experience and make it more of a competitor of Google than it has been in the past. The other two are very new search engines. It’s always good to know about these and experiment to see if they help you in your pursuit of the right candidates. In no way should you change everything you’re doing because of these, but we should all do what we can to understand what new tools are being developed so we can experiment with them to see if they should become a permanent part of our process.
