In 2012, LinkedIn acquired Slideshare.net – a site to which users can upload files privately or publicly in the following file formats: PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote or OpenDocument presentations. Since then, many LinkedIn users started uploading their resumes on their LinkedIn profile pages and publishing them on Slideshare as well.
Slideshare has a functionality called “Transcript” which reads documents and puts the text below the files, which can then be easily x-rayed.
The results show the resume with contact numbers and email address.
