We’ve all heard that in order to find everything on the internet we have to venture beyond Google and Bing. But how do we know which search engines to use? Phil Bradley – an information specialist, internet trainer, and blogger I read regularly – has created a PearlTree with over 200 different search engines.
On his website, Phil describes the resource as:
…. a collection of over 200 different search engines in a variety of different subject areas – crucial search engines that you must know about, meta, multi, directory search engines, search engines that you can use to find out about social media material, video, sound, images and so on.
